Pall Mall Investment Management offers institutional investors the opportunity, in accordance with their investment strategy, to define investor specific risk parameters, such as inital investment volume, as well as the initial and maximum risk budget. The initial risk budget sets the minimum floor value in relation to the portfolio, which is never undercut.
In turn, the maximum risk budget determines the value growth from which this floor will be raised.
By fixing the risk budget at 5%, the budget at 10% maximum means that for a portfolio of 100 million, 95 million represents the absolute floor; the inital risk budget is therefore 5% of the assets. Should the risk budget grow to 10 million, the 95% floor value will be raised.
